Menu Folders, QR Stands, and Storage Boxes — a complete set of laser-engraved wooden hospitality accessories, produced for a tropical bar and restaurant in a single commission.

Custom Branded Woodwork for ZanziBar

ZanziBar is a bar and restaurant with a strong, immersive atmosphere — tropical materials, warm lighting, and a sense of place that extends from the ceiling to the countertop. When the client came to us, the brief was not for a single product but for a complete set of branded wooden accessories that would work consistently across the venue. The result is three distinct objects, each designed for a specific function, each carrying the same laser-engraved ZanziBar mark, and each immediately identifiable as part of the same family.

01

Menu Folders

The menu folders are produced as flat two-panel covers in a warm-toned wood composite, joined along the spine by a black fabric binding tape that allows the cover to open flat and lie without resistance. The ZanziBar wordmark is engraved across the upper portion of the front panel, large enough to read clearly when the folder is placed on a table. The interior holds printed menu inserts — food and drinks — removed and replaced without affecting the cover. The folders are produced in a batch sized for full table service, and the fabric binding gives each one a consistent profile when stacked between services.

02

QR Code Stands

The QR stand is a rectangular upright panel mounted in a solid base that keeps it stable on a bar counter without additional fixing. A square QR code panel is inset into the upper face — laser-cut and engraved so that the code is permanently part of the object rather than a printed sticker. Below the code, "Scan for menu" is engraved in a smaller setting, followed by the full ZanziBar wordmark. The stand reads clearly in low bar lighting, and the branded text below means the object functions as a touchpoint even when it is not being actively scanned.

03

Storage Boxes

The storage boxes are finger-jointed timber construction — assembled from flat-cut panels with interlocking corner joints that give structural rigidity without fasteners. The ZanziBar wordmark is engraved on the long face of each box at a scale that reads from across a counter. The boxes hold menu folders and lunch cards at the entrance or bar station, keeping the front-of-house surface organised while presenting the brand at eye level to arriving guests. Produced to stack, they work as a display as much as a storage solution. If you are outfitting a new venue or refreshing an existing set of hospitality accessories, we can design and produce a complete branded woodwork package to your specifications.
