Where the BP01 pairs a wood frame with a felt pocket, the BP02 drops the frame entirely. It's cut and stitched from felt alone, front to back, giving it a lighter, more flexible feel in hand — closer to a soft clutch than a rigid tray. For venues that want the check presented without any hard edges on the table, this is the simpler of the two options.

A Wavy Pocket Instead of a Straight Slot

The defining detail is the pocket's top edge: instead of a straight cut, it curves in a soft wave across the front panel. It's a small design choice, but it changes how the piece reads on a table — less like a functional envelope, more like an object someone considered.
