Milled from a single piece of solid Ukrainian oak, finished with natural food-safe oil and hand-dipped in matte stone-grey paint along the handle end, this compact serving board is built around a single guest rather than a shared platter — a small cheese course, a spirit and dip, a plated main, or a pair of snacks arranged as a considered composition. The grey-dipped section carries a round through-cutout that works as both a service handle and a hanging point, so the board becomes part of the venue's décor when it's not in service rather than something that lives in a drawer. It reads as a piece of restaurant hardware, not a novelty tray.

Solid oak, hand-dipped stone-grey finish

The board is milled from one uninterrupted piece of solid Ukrainian oak, chosen for its density, closed grain and resistance to knife marks and light acids from cheese, honey and vinegar-based dressings — the daily reality of a small-plates service. Roughly a third of the length is dipped by hand in matte stone-grey paint, and the visible brushstroke direction along the transition line is intentional rather than a defect. Each board carries its own hand-made signature rather than a machine-perfect finish, which reads correctly in venues that already lean into artisanal, hand-crafted material. The round through-cutout in the grey-dipped section serves as both a service handle and a hanging point behind the pass or on a wall. The oak surface itself is finished with a food-safe natural oil that deepens the amber tone of the grain with use and pairs cleanly with the neutral grey end without visual conflict.

The grey-dipped finish is deliberately neutral. Where a lighter pastel accent belongs to brunch cafés and coastal venues and a full black-dipped version belongs to steakhouses and dark cocktail bars, the stone-grey version fits the middle of contemporary hospitality — minimalist cafés, gallery restaurants, natural-wine bars, Scandinavian-inflected dining rooms and design-forward boutique hotels.
