An oak serving board built around a glass of wine and the food that comes with it

Milled from a single piece of solid Ukrainian oak and finished with natural food-safe oil, this two-section serving board is written around a specific service moment — a guest, a glass of wine, and a small course of charcuterie to go with it. A round recess at the top holds the base of a stemmed goblet steady on the table so it doesn't tip when the guest reaches for a knife or gestures across the plate; a rectangular tray beneath carries the food — cheese strings, cured salami, roasted nuts, jerky — inside a lipped edge that keeps everything within reach. A laser-engraved brand mark at the top edge turns a functional service board into a signed piece of restaurant hardware.

Solid oak, precision-milled two-section layout

The board is machined from one uninterrupted piece of solid Ukrainian oak, chosen for its density, closed grain and resistance to wine spills, cheese oils and repeated wet-wiping — the daily reality of a wine bar or grill house floor. The round upper recess is sized to hold a standard 65–80 mm goblet base flush with the wood surface, so the glass sits stable without a coaster or a coaster ring; the lower rectangular tray is shallow enough to fan out a small charcuterie without over-piling, but deep enough that dry salami and hazelnuts don't roll off during service. Both recesses share the same softened lip; the corners of the board are hand-rounded rather than square-cut, so the board reads as a considered object rather than a machined blank. The oak surface is finished with a food-safe natural oil that deepens the amber tone of the grain with use and reads warm alongside dark wine glasses, brass and blackened steel.

Made for wine bars, steakhouses and grill houses

The layout is deliberately narrow. This is not a shared platter or a flight board — it is a personal wine-and-food presenter for one guest at a time. Wine bars use it as a per-glass charcuterie course, where a single guest at the counter receives their glass and a matched small board together as one composition. Steakhouses and grill houses run it as the pre-main pairing — a glass of house red, a small board of cured meat and cheese for two, arriving before the main course lands. Whiskey and cocktail bars use the goblet recess for stemmed serves and short-stem tumblers alike, keeping premium glassware stable during animated service. In every context the natural oak, engraved brand mark and rounded corners carry a hand-made feel that reads correctly next to steel taps, dark leather and low light.

Engraved with your own brand

The top edge of the natural oak is left open for a laser-engraved brand mark on custom orders — venue name, logo, tagline or house dish, applied with CO₂ laser to the same depth and letter weight as the reference 'GRILL HOUSE' example shown in the photography. Board dimensions, goblet-recess diameter and tray depth can all be adjusted on request — larger recess for balloon glasses, deeper tray for two-course charcuterie, or matched sets in graduated sizes for a full house service. Because the whole board comes from a single piece of solid oak with no glue joints or metal hardware, dimensional customisation is practical even at low order quantities.

Made to order for hospitality

A sample piece is available for approval before the full batch is produced. Boards are shipped ready for service — oiled and engraved where applicable — and the oak surface can be re-oiled by the venue over time to keep the grain from drying out under heavy service. Minimum order quantity, lead time and wholesale terms are handled directly by the Inko Horeca B2B team.
