Wooden QR Code Table Stand with Felt-Framed Engraved Panel — A Tabletop Piece That Does More Than Display a Code

Most QR code stands are an afterthought — a laminated card in a plastic sleeve, or a cheap acrylic holder that clouds and scratches within a season. The QPW01 takes a different approach. Built from stained plywood and finished with a hand-set felt frame around the engraved QR panel, it reads as a considered tabletop object rather than signage bolted on as a technical necessity. For restaurants, cafés, wine bars, and boutique hotels that have moved their menus, reviews, or booking links to QR, this stand lets that transition look intentional instead of improvised.

Espresso-Stained Plywood with a Hand-Set Felt Frame

The body is cut from birch plywood and finished in a deep espresso stain that shows the grain without overwhelming it. Set into the upper face is a felt frame in charcoal grey, fixed at each corner with a small metal rivet — a detail borrowed from leather hardware rather than typical wood-shop finishing. The felt does double duty: it softens the transition between the dark wood surround and the lighter engraved insert, and it gives the whole piece a tactile, upholstered quality that plain laser-cut wood stands don't have. Every rivet is set by hand, so the frame sits flush and doesn't loosen with regular handling on a busy table.

Laser-Engraved QR Insert, Custom to Each Order

At the center of the felt frame sits a separate wood insert with the QR code laser-engraved directly into the surface — no printed sticker, no vinyl decal that peels after a few months of wiping down tables. Because the code is cut into the wood grain itself, it holds its scan quality indefinitely and doesn't fade under spotlights or direct sun near a window table. Each QPW01 is produced to order: send your QR destination and we engrave it fresh for that specific venue, so the piece is never a generic placeholder pulled from stock.

Engraved Logo Beneath the QR Panel

Below the felt-framed insert, the lower half of the espresso plywood face is left clear for a second engraving — typically the venue's logo and name, burned directly into the stained wood in the same laser pass as the QR panel. This keeps the branding permanent rather than printed, and gives the stand a finished, signage-grade look rather than a bare utility item. Logo files are accepted as vector artwork (.ai, .cdr, .eps, .svg, .dxf) for the cleanest engraving result.

A Freestanding Base Built for Daily Table Use

The stand slots into a matching plywood base with a milled groove, so it stands upright on its own without glue, without a separate easel back, and without tipping when a server reaches past it to clear plates. The footprint is small enough to sit beside a place setting without crowding it, and the base can be lifted and relocated in seconds during a table reset or a private event. Because the whole piece is solid plywood rather than a thin laminate, it holds its shape and weight through nightly service rather than warping the way cardboard or thin acrylic stands tend to.

Finish Your Table Setting with Considered QR Signage

A QR code doesn't have to look like it was added after the fact. The QPW01 pairs a warm, tactile felt-and-wood construction with permanent laser engraving, giving hospitality venues a way to point guests to a digital menu, a review link, or a booking page without breaking the tabletop's design language. Made in Ukraine, produced to order with no minimum quantity — send your QR link and logo, and we'll engrave a stand built for your table.
